Oglebay Resort. Wheeling, WV

One of my childhood favorite vacation spots Oglebay in Wheeling, West Virginia It used to be a 5 star family friendly great place to go! had a breakfast buffet in the restaurant in the lodge  A train that went around the animals at the zoo and during holidays they'd have the Easter Bunny or Santa. Though it's still nice, they no longer have the buffet. and it's not as Homey as it once was. it seems like they are catering to a different crowd now. it's more luxurious. I may get married there though. Now they have a Spa, the restaurant is very eloquent  they have a Garden center and a nature center with a beautiful landscape. I guess it's not all that bad. It's target is Golfers. It has many driving ranges and golf courses. The Cabins are very nice still and i haven't been in a room in a while but from what i've seen... WOW! it's 3 1/2 hours from Cleveland, Ohio. It's definitely somewhere you have to go at least once to say "yeah, I've been there" It's no longer my cup of tea but that doesn't mean it's not for you!
