CPAP
I went to my sleep doctor yesterday for the results of my Sleep Study. They told me my results which was that I have Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The treatment for that is a CPAP machine. A CPAP machine mainly forces your airway open so you keep breathing in your sleep and minimizes snoring as well.
To be honest, i'm actually rather excited to be getting one of these things. I ended up having to wear one during the sleep study and was surprised about how comfortable the mask actually was. Also I guess I had only worn it for a couple hours but I felt a big difference in my energy and overall feeling when I was woken up. took a second but after I stopped feeling groggy I was on cloud 9. I didn't go back to bed when I got home. I drank coffee and folded my laundry.
The doctor said I should hear from the CPAP medical company by Tuesday and if not give them a call. The machine is going to be delivered to my house by the end of the month so I'm extremely excited. Per insurance requirements, I must wear the machine at least 4 hours every night. I also have to wear it one month out of the 2 before I have to bring it in to the doctor and have them check it for imperfections.
I can't wait to begin feeling refreshed in the morning and possibly to the point I can stay up later and wake up a tad earlier every day. The doctor was actually impressed with how motivated I seemed to be to get and actually use the CPAP machine. Let's hope everything works out for the best!
This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine.
